Mary Rowlands is a secondary science teacher who currently works as an Education Officer on the Waterwise Schools Program with the Department of Natural Resources and Water in Queensland. Her role involves developing curriculum resources such as “Water: Learn for Life” and delivering professional development sessions for teachers and pre-service teachers about how to use these resources. She is particularly interested in the way that students learn to use water, and how they can help to change their behaviours and use water more wisely.
Mary is a past-president of the Science Teachers’ Association of Queensland. |
