Moni Carlisle

Moni Carlisle is the program leader for Community and Climate for Terrain NRM, which is the Natural Resource Management body for the Wet Tropics.  Her research area is Social Ecological Resilience, in particular environmental resilience and community interdependence with natural ecological systems. In her interview, Moni describes the impact and consequences of human activity on wetlands. She explains our interdependence with wetland systems, with particular reference to the Cattana Wetlands and their importance to the local community.
