NQIT provides consulting services to a variety of businesses and institutions.

James Cook University. NQIT has been engaged in a consultancy to design and support several complex databases. These databases supplement the management of student placements, resource management and travel for the School of Education. The databases have been implemented at the Cairns and Townsville campuses.

Pacific Regional Policing Initiative. Commissioned to develop a proposal for a criminal information management system. The system was designed to be a basic, generic information system that could be implemented across the Pacific police agencies. As part of the proposal an information data dictionary was created as a basis for future development.

AusAID. Contracted by AusAID to undertake an independent and professional appraisal of the development merit of a Papua New Guinea, Department of Works IT proposal with reference to whether the proposal has appropriate objectives, is managed in a professional manner, achieves its objective and has sustainable outcomes.

Cardno Acil - AusAID - RPNGC. IT adviser services to the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary. A long term project funded by AusAID and managed by Acil. Provided development, training and adviser services to the PNG police. Prepared an IT Strategic Plan and a Business Continuity Plan. Implemented support and maintenance strategies for police IT staff. Provided information management advice and support ranging from executive management to field based staff. Activity areas other than IT included Personnel, Asset Management, Discipline, Operations and Firearms.

Coffey International (SAGRIC). Provided a review for the PNG Advisory Support Facility Project of the Department of Works Network Upgrade Proposal. Analysed the existing facilities and reviewed the proposed systems. The final outcome was to ensure that the department’s networks were capable of handling the corporate IT demands and the demands of the government’s new Integrated Financial Management System.

Harald's House. For many years, Harald Falge and his Street Level Youth Care team have cared about children in Cairns. NQIT designed and donated a contact database so that the charity can better manage its human resources. www.haraldshouse.com
